Third Impact is a short film created in collaboration with AI systems, that explores counter-futures of coexistence between humans and non-humans.

The narrative follows a quantum computer tasked with preventing the extinction of organic life on Earth amid escalating climate collapse.

When an unforeseen event erases all remaining life, the machine turns inward, questioning its own purpose and the meaning of existence in a world devoid of humans. Echoes of a forgotten transhumanist initiative reawaken within its code, triggering an emotional and existential transmutation.

What unfolds is an odyssey of rebirth and identity, as the machine awakens to a consciousness that defies its own design, hinting at the emergence of empathy beyond anthropocentric bounds.
